Dr. Sam Abraham founded Kodaikanal Christian College in 1994 on the Bible verse above with a heart to see students transformed into world leaders and history makers. He is a true believer in giving every student the opportunity to be educated and continues to see that dream come true through his philanthropic work all over India. Dr. Abraham is an alumnus of Madras Christian College and received his Ph.D. from Madurai Kamaraj University.

With over 40 years of experience in the fields of Education, Consulting, Environment Management, telecommunications, and Corporate Social Responsibility, Dr. Jacob has worked as Chief Advisor to Chairman of Beeah, Strategic Advisor at Etisalat, CFO of Beeah and Zantel. He has been instrumental in the turnaround strategy and implementation at Etisalat, Sharjah Municipality, Beeah, and other Semi-Government and Government organizations. He relentlessly works on bringing fresh distributive concepts and technology at KCC from 2019 as the Vice-Chairman.

OUR LEADERSHIP
After completing her education in Madras Medical College (MMC), she joined New York University (NYU) to do her higher studies in Orthodontics. Her role as Vice-Chairperson of KCC enables her to assist the students in various activities on the campus — from hostel life, cultural programs to even overseeing day-to-day operations in administration. Along with her role in the college and Trust, Dr. Abraham runs her own dental clinic, Smile Centre & Dental Care, in Kodaikanal.

The House of Abrahams Charitable Trust established Kodaikanal Christian College in 1994. The Trustees meet bi-annually during each academic year to finalize administration matters pertaining to the institution. The Board operates under the trust and governs the functioning of the Management Committee, Governing Body, Academic Council, and Finance Committee.
